See that? 8049.205 miles.. approximately. That is how far away Auckland is from my house! And it's 20 hours ahead of Minnesota time.


I leave in 23 days. It's starting to hit me that I'm leaving - but mostly because I'm counting down the days. I have a feeling moving out of my room and turning in my keys to ResLife is going to force me to understand that I am really going to be gone from Minnesota and in New Zealand. And let's be honest. I'm outrageously excited about it. Can it be February 15th already?

One more thing: I looked up dance companies in New Zealand (because of course I'm going to go see dance performances while I'm there!) and the company Black Grace looks like something I will go see. Pacific contemporary dance? Yes please.
